Director of Purchasing
As the Purchasing Manager you are responsible for the sourcing and purchasing of food, beverage, liquor, and other hotel operating supplies, ensuring best purchasing practices, and maintaining positive vendor relationships. This position will manage day to day operations of receiving, tracking and inspection of incoming items for quality and accuracy, processing invoices, inventory and distribution management, daily perishables management, purchase orders, and leadership of the purchasing and storeroom team.  

Other duties include filling requisitions and completing inventory for items in the storeroom area, including food storeroom, beverage storerooms, as well as maintaining the security of the hotel’s storage areas.  This position may collaborate with department heads tracking food cost by food and beverage outlet and ensuring those are in line with guidelines.  Additionally, this role will assist with the timely processing of invoices as well as completing end of month work within the given time constraints each month end.
