We have four big events that happen throughout the year.
These events are focused on fundraising and workforce development.
Sysco ProStart Invitational
This is our annual Prostart event where high schools across the state compete in culinary arts and culinary management. Winning schools will be awarded scholarships and have the opportunity to represent Washington state at nationals.
Golf FORE! Education
This annual fundraising event is a foursome golf tournament held at the National Golf Club in Auburn, WA. The day includes lunch, golfing, live auction, raffles, and dinner. Interested parties can register as a foursome or single player to be placed in a foursome at the start of the tournament, and/or be a sponsor.
ProStart Fall Institute
This annual conference provides industry training to high school teachers of participating ProStart schools.
Hiring Events
This event connects citizens with opportunities and employers with ready-to-work candidates. It’s different from typical job fairs as it removes roadblocks to employment such as lack of transportation, certifications, permits uniform needs, food assistance, and much more.
